I always hated the Sathanas "flying rock" look. It looks almost comical --- doesnt intimidate me very much.

The Lucifer style just screams metallized a lot more than the other Shivan ships...and really has this "im gonna eviscerate you and everyone else" look going to it. It is a lot more menacing than any other shivan ship and I think that direction is where more custom shivan ships need to be created.

The Sathanas/Moloch/Ravana/Demon style, which is all angled red and gray, looks like a FLYING GLOWING ROCK than an actual metal ship. Ships with the Flying Rock style do NOT give me the feeling of dread the Lucifer did on its very first entrance in FS1. The only one of the "flying rock" category that actually looks good is the SD Demon. The rest...pfft.

[V] did a great job extrapolating the SD Demon "look" for the Ravana (the "Rocky Look", and the Moloch is new in its own right of "sleek shivan ship" category, and the Sathanas is new in its own right as being the "flying huge rock" category...but I think one or two flying rocks or "demon look" ships are enough.

My eyes bleed to look at them, quite frankly.

Inferno (ANY mod, they're all suffering from Sathanas-ish design fever!) would look better with more Lucifer-sleek metallized designs, tis all I'm suggesting. Please, no more "Flying Rocks"...please...pretty please?

Greg's right, in my opinion. You're all trying too hard to make it look "demonic," when the Lucifer was dread-inspiring. Granted, I thought the Sathanas was incredibly dreadful when I saw it outside of the nebula...  But the Lucifer was much better.  And it could pretty much kill everything in sight, until it got into subspace. Plus, the Sath never really went on the offensive. Didn't do planetary assaults, didn't do anything the Lucifer did,  except what everything else does. You've shifted away from the insectoid demon look,  and gone more demonic. Hell, with the Lucifer style, if you took away the red, you could do an Ender's Game mod.  Listen to Greg! I liked fighting the Scorpion...they were just as annoying as in FS1, maybe more so, which means they're good opponents.

IIRC, the Lucy is still in it. It's replaced the Diablo as the Shivan SSD. Apparently it can fry the Nemesis in one-on-one combat.

This is my current list:
Terrans: Warlock, Lenaeus, and something else that was taken from the old SOC fleet
EA: Auriga
Vasudans: Tanen, Rahotep
Shivans: Shiamak
Did I miss anything?

Sounds about right, though the Terrans only have the Lenaeus and Warlock now as the new Warlock can carry the big bombers, it made the 3rd carrier useless.
