Quite a bit, it looks like. High res textures and medium poly models it looks like to me.

And how did I forget to link the sequel to the GREATEST ACTION PLATFORMER EVER. Metroid meets Ico meets Halo, it looks like. :)

Yeah, I'll definately be getting a lot of use out of my gamecube this year.  My favorite thing about the N64 Zeldas was the amazing amount of atmosphere they had in them, this looks like it will be the same :)

I wasn't so impressed with Nintendo's DS thingy, though.  It looks to me like they just threw together every extra feature they could think of to make it look innovative and whatnot(touch screens, voice recognition, 2 screens, etc.), I'm not sure if they actually know what they're going to use all of it for :wtf:

It looks like a remake of the old Game and Watch units to me, Yoda. If it'll take GBA carts though, I could seriously consider going for it. The dual screens mean nothing to me, but that Zelda game, and the Metroid game definately interest me, and lets face it: if Metroid is there, so am I.

The big thing that gets me though is Metroid Prime 2. I really couldn't imagine a way to top Prime, and that Prime 2 video just blew me away completely. DEFINATELY a must have game.

If this keeps up, my PS2 might see some serious dust in the near future.

You know, I'm not a big fan of consoles, and certainly not of the Zelda series (not for any faults mind you, I just never played it), but this actually looks very cool.

edit: also, is it just me, or are game companies releasing their stuff earlier and earlier each year, to the point where all the big announcements pre-empt the actual show?
