some isp block those 6000 ports
try changing azureus to use port 55000
then forward that from the router

Sorry guys, I should've mentioned earlier that Mr Fury got on MSN and helped me sort out the problem (changing the port range to something totally different fixed this issue).

heh, seems like my tip from the first port workeded, then. but, eh, I wouldn't say it's last resort anymore. I tend to randomly change my port from time to time now.

That's just it.. by rights everything (should) have worked using port 8001 through 8009 but for some reason it didn't.

Meh... whatever. The whole thing does my head in sometimes but at least it's working for now. That's the main thing.
