Shooting down slow enemy ships is really fun when using torpedoes. Its about the only time I ever use single shot.

That's malicious, but very funny.

Lies!

It's just funny, it's their own fault if they can't drop a countermeasure fast enough. :p

One time my cyclops actually connected to a Bal but strangely enough it did not kill it, it simply disabled it (killed all its subsystems)  and 2 other fighters near it. (A  wingmate and another bal) :)

It was funny to watch a slow moving cyclops chasing a slower moving fighter and boy can those cyclops turn.

I prefer the Medusa in this mission. I prefer the Medusa in any bomber mission when available, though.
Is the Zeus only available in the simulator?

I didn't use any strategy, I just kept pounding away with the Cyclops until the Ravana is killed.

Plus almost random use of afterburner, and a lot of cursing and swearing.

I rarely have problems with Ravana, mainly because my main tactics in FS has always been just pumping maximal amount of ordnance into enemy while ignoring my dying wingmen. I'm so smooth.
lol wtf

Wingmen are useful in that mission.

Yeah, they are in a few, but not a lot... Usually just as diversions... Though, I usually have good luck with them, mainly in bombing missions which are time-critical... They're smart enough to drop enough bombs to weaken it to the point that i can finish it off after they're dead

I am very sensitive about my dead wingmen. So, I never lose them, period. They usually act as bait and I just shoot them down with my 3 shot prometheus cannon. The enemy is an easy target. Once the fighters are dead, you just keep pounding it. If I feel a wingman is almost dead, I order him to depart. That way, they live to fight another day.

same here.

Put this in your profile if you know someone who is fighting, has survived, or has died from an awp no scope.
