I was comparing the Iceni to other corvettes in the same mod to show that in 2395, it makes perfect sense as a corvette, and isn't really anything special. Mods are non-canon by definition, and guess what the 2395 fleet falls under? Stop being dense.

Except, you know, the Iceni is a canon ship.  Evaluating the non-canon design as a corvette says absolutely nothing about the canon design relative to the campaign it is used in.

Except that the GTVA redesignated it when they built their own version, to fit its new role in the next-generation GTVA fleet. The canon Iceni is a pile of debris floating around the nebula beyond Gamma Draconis. The GTVA acquired its blueprints along with the ETAK device and built their own examples of the ship, with an entirely different mission profile than what Admiral Bosch originally had in mind.

All Iceni-class ships built after the first one are non-canon. The GTVA's Iceni-class ships are no more canon than the Raiden or the Scylla.

Well, I wanted a different naming convention for the Free Democratic Solar Republic (yeah, they really call themselves the "Free Democratic Solar Republic". This, of course means that they're actually a military dictatorship) to set them apart, and the more Greek names I use, the more contrived and stupid I have to make them to give every ship a unique name.

It's the pre-WWII US Army Air Corps logo with the red and blue switched around. The Texaco logo has a T in the star.

I always thought the INFR1 shivans looked vaguely ... floral.  Like big (massive), reddish, spiky flowers...

I use some INFR1 Shivan caps because I really don't have any substitutes for them. I can't think of a single decent Shivan corvette besides the Scylla, and I've avoided the Dante for the super-juggernaut role (no, Alpha 1 will not blow up the super-juggernaut, I have something different in mind) because it featured so prominently in Blue Planet. The only INFR1 Shivan ship that I really like is the Arachnas.

Would anyone else know where to get a good Shivan corvette?

Uh, the Shiamak is not a corvette, it's humongous!

(although come to think of it I like it too. It's just too big and I already have the Sathanas makes a fine juggernaut by itself)

In terms of actual volume (there's a lot of empty space in the Malia model), it's more of a cruiser than a corvette.

Well yes, volume but who cares about that.  
It's about the size of a corvette, and I armed/armored it like one. (I've nerfed the Lilith down to a MRed for the record, so it's not corvette-armed anymore - the SC Hela was special which is why it had an LRed).

I replaced both the Cain and Lilith with the Malebolge (Rictus model). It keeps the LRed but reduces HP to 50,000 and has a hell of a lot more anti-fighter defenses. It's less one-dimensional while retaining the "oh crap!" factor of the Lilith.
