Freespace would not only commit suicide it would shove the spurkplug **** and ****  **** *** **** and  **** and both of you die.
FS_Open on the other hand handles it quite well.

If the later term leaves you with a strong sense of  WTF? Then hit *HOME* hold steady and look in the upper right corner?

An interesting thought... Even if it doesn't work this way, we could use some really low-poly and low-res LODs (or even only a second LOD)... Nobody will notice.

Yupp, from TBP.
Just extract the effects folder and serch for "exp". Copy all files into your FS2  effects folder. (Yes... a lot of files.)

(The explosions are EFFs.)

The new model is great.




I'm amazed by the engine too. And of course by the artists that create new models and maps.

But it's not everything about graphics. Finding bugs and adding gameplay features are also important.
