I was suprised in my podunk town of 2000 people or so, with a movie theater as old as the town itself actually got this film the day it was released to all theaters. I would say it's a fairly good movie, storywise. It was funny to see USR as the leader in robotics... But there were some interesting CG shots in that film. Some of the camera movements threw me for a loop, literally. This film didnt really have a ton of the Will Smith humor you'd find in the Men In Black movies, which was a relief.
I wonder if microsoft got sucked up by USR, who wrote the software for the robots...
The credits quoted the movie was
inspired by the Asimov book too, so I'm sure the book will be a good read.
