Nice pictures, the first one takes after the Death Star.
The second one(described as DEVIL! by Dark_4ce) should be used as a logo for any game projects relating to hell(Italian and Latin name as Inferno :p).

WMCoolmon: it's supposed to be a Phoenix, the mythical bird that dies and is reborn in a burst of flame or some variation thereof.  It's a little hard to make out, yes, but I'd imagine it's some part of an animation, where its form would make much more sense.  Oh, and it's supposed to be coming out of the sun (note the plasma and curvature of the surface).  Though I'm not quite sure what one would do about a phoenix 15 earth diameters in height.

The X-Wing game says otherwise. :D

Don't underestimate the nastiness of an A-Wing. They're the only things that can catch TIE interceptors and match them for speed and agility. Okay, so the shields suck and the craft only has a pair of lasers, but they're more than capable of tying up TIEs. :)
