Normally from those choices I would have to go with Hecate (I want to live).. However since we can choose ANY destroyer now I'll go with Raptor's (I hope I remembered right) GTD SATURN cause it is simply 1000 times better than the Hades and is FS2's version of the Excalibur (sorta)... all we need is an uber recharging weapon and ...(mumbles into B5 speek)...

what about the shivan destroyers i mean thing about it what if the GTVA managed to commedeer a shivan destroyer and trained and station people on it as a  normal deystroyer well if not a ravana i'de choose the Hatshesput

The GTVA tried to "commendeer" a shivan dragon in FS1 and nearly got Alpha 1 killed... do you really think they would risk it? Even if they could beat the unknown numbers of shivans in them?

well naturally firs they'd have to figure out how many shivans and how many marines. then of course you'd have to make infantry weapons that are more effective than blowing it and you up with a gernade launcher (hallfight reference) and even if you didn't bring it to active service you could research the tech. you work small like a cruiser then as you become more effective work your way up.

however i wouldn't doubt that command wouldn't try it on a sath. allthing considered the sath will always be too much to take.

Dude, you're talking about a group of people that have the tactical ability of a chimpanzee.  Do you really think that Command would ever scan the ship for lifesigns before entering?  Command obviously never learned from its mistakes from the previous war with the shivans, and got careless with the constant flaunting of the "superior technolgy".  Then the shivans sent in 80 juggernauts and blew up Capella killing who know how many millions of people in a giant supernova.

At any rate, the shivans are xenophobes.  They're not going to sit idly by while we infest one of their capital ships.  They'll fight to the bitter end to keep us out.   That disaster of a battle only took place on a Cain-class cruiser.  What do you think would happen if we got ourselves a Demon let alone a Ravana or Sathanas?  The GTVA could have another Lucifer on their hands (or more than one!) and given what it took to stop the last one, I don't think they'd have much of a chance in hell of winning.

In this case, the Lucifer. Of course, if the Shivans had used any Lucifers in Fs2, they would have armed it with Beam and flak cannons. There would have been two BFReds on the arms! They have firepower.

Even if we did manage to overwhelm them we wouldn't get anywhere the Shivans are to smart to allow one of thier ships to fall in enemie hands they would auto-destruct the ship in a heartbeat.
