FreeSpace 1. The Shivans appeared to be more dangerous. The general feeling is also better. There were no AAA beams and flaks which is an advantage in all aspects.

FS1.

Because the step from "no FS" era to the FS1 era was a greater joy than the step from FS1 era to FS2 era  :)

There isn't an active thread on the topic but do you really think that in the 5 years since FS2 was released no one has posted a thread asking which one is better? :D
