Whenever i play the SCP in OGL, none of my ships have textures.  The only things that appear are glowmaps, thruster plumes, and a completely black model.  Now, albeit, some of the models look *really* cool with just glowmaps (arcadia) but i wanna see the awesomness that is the SCP models.  

Oh, and whenever i run in D3D, my framerate drops massivley whenever a beam is fired, hense the necessity of OGL.

Command lines: -glow, -jpgtga, and -phreak

And yes, i have the media .vps.

EDIT:  Come back in an hour or so, i went over my data transfer limit with .PNG's.  I swiched them to .jpg's, but my server wont come back for about 45 minutes.  Sorry.

I think its your graphics controller (which is crap), it doesn't support compressed textures.

Alright guys, i get it, my card sucks.  I know that.  Stop slamming me for it.  So my computer wasn't built for graphics.  I've been a Freespace player for about four years now and i've followed VolitionWatch, HLP and the SCP for a long time, so sticking around even though i haven't been able to use all the cool new toys means i'm pretty devoted and i think buys me some respect.

All i wanted to do was witness the majesty that is the SCP.

Well as someone said your graphics card doesn't support compressed textures so run without the -jpgtga switch in the commandline and see if that solves the issue. You won't have some of the new textures or come to think of it the hi res planets but you should still have specular lighting and glow mapping(maybe if your card manages it). If you -=need=- (and who doesn't ;) ) all of the high res stuff you could get your hands on vp view and a graphics converter and extract then convert all the tga's to pcx and use the -pcx32 switch...though I don't relish the thought of that, there are quite a few tga's.
