Colonial Marines: Elite Force

Its a pretty damn good AvP Fan Made CGI Movie. Currently, it seems part one is out at 24 minutes long, however good luck with it considering its a 500+ Mb download.

Apart from a few lip sync/animation issues, this is a great movie.

Overall pretty good movie for non-professional, but Aliens were poorly animated, they seemed sluggish and tails were strange.

You can only download 10mb in an hour? An ordinary 56k can download close to 20mb in that time. Mine can.

ok finished & and watched. was nice overall, the end is a bit confusing. the alien look like dolls, when they die there is a cheap effect, and no acid come from thier body,also they look kinda small compare to the original alien+they move 2 slow.

for the humans , thier modles are excellent though the men look very simlar to woman(the sergant look like a man though...).

predators are cool , the only thing that i think (for now) is trully perfect.

overall... well done movie... 8/10 for this chapter... it was kinda slow for the "first" 20 minutes, and in the last 5 minute it was 2 fast.

About 15MB would be average, with 24.6MB being the theoretical maximum.

Me and some mates were already planning to go see it when its released before heading back and knocking back a few drinks.

Hope its worth going to see though... I always liked Pred, and Alien movies hehe.

With the new movie I also wonder if they will make a remake of the old PC game. It was alright in its time, but the graphics kinda suck compared to todays standards.
Like someone mentioned in another thread, AvP in the Doom3 engine would be quite a scare I'd imagine...

I am not quite satisfied with this one. The Aliens had green acid and the Predators got too little part. The humans were talking too quiet, compared to the ambient and alien voices.

yep, what annoyed me is the cheap acid effect, i mean they guy shot him from 1/8 meter the alien explode but no acid came to the human atall... bummer.
plus 1 human acctually kicked alien, i mean wtf?! how can it be? he is 3 meter tall(in the movier though he is shorter than a human),he is much stronger + quicker, and the guy kicked him and killed him.
