Well, the Supermarket has the right to refuse to serve you, however, a letter to their head office saying how your girlfriend is in pain, and with a Photocopy of the note the doctor scribbled, together with stressing how rude and useless the staff were well at least land them in trouble.

Playgrounds : I do agree that our children are kept too 'sterile' these days, I concern as to how little natural disease/injury tolerance they are building up.
Sports : Never had a ploblem with competition as such, as long as the little bastards have it drummed in from the start that it is a game and whilst winning is good, losing is no reason to hate the winner, his school, hid race and anyone within 20feet of him.
School transport : I am certainly in agreement that something needs to be done about SUV's. London's roads were mainly designed to take cart and small vehicles, SUV's are increasing the Gridlock problem 300 fold.
