Everything that happens in highschool is worthless.

Friends drift away. Relationships are transitory at best. Grades are only ever important if you want to go to college or when applying for you first job, after that it's all done on references.

Basically, all school is good for is setting you up for the first thing you do after school. From there on, it'll pretty much never have any affect on your life whatsoever.

Maybe for you, anyways. I still am in touch with my high-school friends, and still with my second highschool girlfriend 3 years later...

My experience is that pain doesn't really go away...you just get better at not thinking about it.

By that logic, anyone you bump into on the street, at a party, at the mall or wherever, and start talking to, and eventually develop a friendship with, thats all meaningless chance. Everyone you ever meet in just chance.
