Provisionals in Ohio mean nothing, unless Kerry decides to whine about them.  This puts Bush just one vote away, which should easily be won in one of the contested states, thereby giving Bush the election.

Edit:  I originally said that Hawaii was projected for Bush as well; it is actually being projected for Kerry, at least by NBC.

Bush 254
Kerry 252

Whoever wins Ohio wins the election, and though Kerry has a chance, its not a very good one, with 99% of ballots counted and Bush with a significant lead.

Are you serious? Man, that is really really close. Didn't expect it to come down to the line like that at all.

Why are some place reporting 269-238?

Even if its taken as a given that Bush won Ohio, that would give him 274, not 269. New Mexico and Iowa are 12 put together, which would be 266.

Where is this 269 number coming from?

I find it funny how Fox called Florida and Ohio for Bush before anyone else in the US... and before the proper exit polls.

FYI, a good majority of the provisional ballots turn up being invalid. I dont think there is much for Kerry there.

I dont think many states in the south do provisional voting though...
Wow, the results of the HLP poll surprised me. I thought Bush was gonna get blown out by Kerry. Guess there arent as many Bush haters here as I originally thought.....

Anyone else notice that the entire exit polling system really screwed up this year?  So much for an easy Kerry win, eh, Dems? :p

Looks like he wasnt so bad a president after all!

Tell you what.

If Bush invades 2 more countries, I'll buy you all a drink, k?

Let the Politics Begin: Exit polling
Exit polling was also unreliable last year. They were exactly wrong in almost everything they predicted.
