a) Vodka came from Poland, not Russia;
b) Jack Daniels isn't whiskey, it's a mislabelled bourbon;
c) All those beers are cat pee compared to the almighty black depths of Guinness
d) ...or maybe Newcastle Brown

Also, I likely couldn't hold my liquor anyway.  My cousin had a single beer at a party one time, he passed out and wrecked his car 25 minutes after he imbibed.

Lightweight!!!!!!!!!!!!

I stopped drinking to try & keep fit when I was still playing in the uni 5's league... can't say I miss it much, never was a big fan of alchy-hol.  Albeit JD is quite nice.

actually, it's an abomination called "Tennesee Whisky".

but this poll is useless. where's real beer (american beer is not beer, it's urine + water), and real whiskey (such as scotch, irish and canadian)? and ffs, liqueur and cognac and what-not. why not even have wine there?

My current fave: Kronenbourg 1664 - It's a casual thing though, I stopped serious drinking when I left the military.....

yeah, I don't drink heavily either. Usually a couple of good beers, or some nice whiskey or rum.

I guess I'll need to try that Kronenbourg 1664 the next time I go shop for beer. I don't think I've had any french beer yet. I usually go with Staropramen, which is a very nice lager. staropramen dark isn't bad either. czechs know their stuff when it comes to beer.

I like alcohol but I don't get drunk. Moderation is a good policy with such things.

Hedonism makes our meaningless, absurd exsistence fun, but still meaningless and absurd. Possibly even more absurd then it was before, since being hedonistic tends to make you look absurd.

None of the above. Don't drink. Simply because I don't like the stuff, not from any religious, moral, or other convictions.

And drinking alcohol doesn't necessarily mean to get totally wasted each time.

1) It's spelled Heineken.
2) JD<>Good whisky, AFAIK.
3) Add some more good stuff like Calvados and/or Schnapps.
4) You completely forgot the wine category.
5) I prefer Whisky, but generally not the American kind. White wine, and rosé are good too. I never drink so much that I'd have trouble walking. I generally don't drink more then one glass a night, and even when something special is up, not more then 3 unless I eat great amounts too.

Watching drunk classmates is great fun, though.
