Oh come now. It wasn't THAT bad.
Ivanova's poor delivery of that speech was what made that scene nauseating, but it could have been redeemed if the cameras cut to the reaction shots of the Earth destroyer's bridge crew.
You have to admit, if you were about to go into battle and your opponent tells you in a psychotic way that she is:
A. Russian
B. Death Incarnate
C. God sent him/her
....you would think that all your battle readiness would instantly be put in check.
In reguard to this new B5 production, I don't know. "The Legend of the Rangers" left a nasty taste in my mouth. I believe the B5 Universe has little story left to tell.
I think its time Staczinsky started writing NEW scifi-stories. He's a capable story-teller, but sticking with B5 just shows that he wants to play it safe and to stick with rearranging past ideas instead of developing new ones.
