Very true. Remeber when he was riding the elevator with Vir after Narn was conquered and Vir tried to apologize for the wrongoings of his people? He cut his hand and with every blood dop he said, "Dead- dead- dead -dead- how can you apologize for that?" with his voice on the verge of breaking.

His war declaration to the Ceantauri was also awesome.

Those were my favorite characters(Londo and G'Kar), their relationship more than any battle or event, defined B5.

You should be lucky that you got the original voices, and did not need to hear the german dubbing. Sheridan's dubbed voice is fitting perfectly for "Scarecrow and Mrs. King", but not for what's supposed to be a determined space station commander. :ick:

It's probably funnier in Japanese.

"I am death incarnated" or something she said. That was corny beyond belief. :doubt: She didn't even say that line very well. At the very least she could've made it sound sincere and not like a B-movie actress would do it.

I am quite a B5 fan, but on this matter, I unfortunately must agree.

You keep forgetting that before B5 she was a B-movie actress.

g'kar was a shakperian actor. so that probibly explained why is character was so good.
I can no longer sit back and allow communist infiltration, communist indoctrination, communist subversion, and the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

Oh come now. It wasn't THAT bad.

Ivanova's poor delivery of that speech was what made that scene nauseating, but it could have been redeemed if the cameras cut to the reaction shots of the Earth destroyer's bridge crew.

You have to admit, if you were about to go into battle and your opponent tells you in a psychotic way that she is:

A. Russian
B. Death Incarnate
C. God sent him/her

....you would think that all your battle readiness would instantly be put in check.

In reguard to this new B5 production, I don't know. "The Legend of the Rangers" left a nasty taste in my mouth. I believe the B5 Universe has little story left to tell.

I think its time Staczinsky started writing NEW scifi-stories. He's a capable story-teller, but sticking with B5 just shows that he wants to play it safe and to stick with rearranging past ideas instead of developing new ones.

I think it is a weakness in every Sci-Fi producer that they have some kind of millenium-long, pan-galactic History locked up in their heads that they just have to get out.

George Lucas, is another example of this ;)

Good thing they kept the writing in house.
- Eddie Kent Woo, Setekh, Steak (of Steaks), AWACS. Seriously, just pick one.
HARD LIGHT PRODUCTIONS, now V3.0. Bringing Modders Together since January 2001.
THE HARD LIGHT ARRAY. Always makes you say wow.

Actually, I'd just throw in a cheeky comment midway through the speech to annoy them.

"I am death incarnate"
"What, so you're dead then?"
