3dmax... hmmm. never tried it. i've looked for trial versions, though. i hate gmax, i can't figure out anything, even though i spent an entire afternoon on it, and truespace, well, *copies and pastes grimloq's sig and edits it* Caligari Truespace: I swear at it, others swear by it!

Gmax is a cut down version of max 4 so if you hate that theres no point in going near it. Everythings better than truespace. Try milkshape or wings, never used either so cant tell you what they're like but they're free. Use rhino myself which while its interface is great isnt really ideal for meshs.

can someone give me a download site for Blender? I don't have it anymore and i forgot what site i got it from.
