Actually, that phrase has been around for a long while.

Oh good, that makes me feel better and less of a thief. :)
What is up with the big space after the glow though?

its an IE error when displaying it...

FF users could care less about seeing the space, since we don't see the glow at all...

I hated the FS2 campaign. Wasn't realistic enough. Not nearly so much as FS1...

 FS1 Campaign was better than the FS2 Campaign... FS1 was a little too easy on all difficulty levels. I beat FS1 on insane in 2 days.

Of course, i am a hardcore gamer... :drevil:
To consider the Earth as the only populated world in infinite space is as absurd as to assert that in an entire field of millet, only one grain will grow. - Metrodorus of Chios
I wept. Mysterious forces beyond my ken had reached into my beautiful mission and energized its pilots with inhuman bomb-firing abilities. I could only imagine the GTVA warriors giving a mighty KIAAIIIIIII shout as they worked their triggers, their biceps bulging with sinew after years of Ivan Drago-esque steroid therapy and weight training. - General Battuta

I found the FS1 campaign's story depressingly simple and generally uninteresting. Maybe it's just cause I played FS2 first, but I found FS2's campaign far more intruiging. In FS1 the Shivans pretty much felt like a generic xenophobic alien race, but in FS2 they appear much more mysterious. At least, that's what I thought.

If he does it, then you have to wait for a long time, cause 88 Mission with many massive briefings (huge story) will take a long time to translate.
Just played through RFC again, encountered some bugs which made me angry, but beside that its my personal Nr.1 campaign. Damnit, if i would know how to Fred, i would fix those bugs and release it...

Freespace: The Great War was the best game gameplay-wise, story-wise, and(at the time) graphically-wise I'd ever played, and all but the graphics hold true for me. There will never be another game that can touch it... I would, however, be interested in another viewpoint of both FS1 and FS2, from someone who actually has a background... a more character driven Freespace, if you will.
Wh00t!? Vinyl? Is it like an I-pod 2 or something?

Hum it's very hard to make a choice along this list. Inferno is excellent, like JAD, Deus Ex machina, FS 2.

I did try Inferno. It wasn't as well made as others made it out to be. But I want a game where the characters get developed through the game, and aren't just "Alpha 1, Beta 3," etc.

You should try Homesick and Shrouding the Light.

And Sync. :nervous:

Lots of writing does not necessarily equal a good story. In fact often using too much writing is a sign of a bad one. It's better to show rather than tell. That said, I have to admit apart from the Colossus part it does sound kinda interesting.
