Something else to remember about this version that is different from the first version.  This version is about the characters, even the Cylons, the ships and battles are windowdressing, awesome windowdressing, but still just windowdressing.  The first version was like having a B grade effects driven movie to watch every monday(or whenever it was on)

I pretty much always do that (putting myself in the other person's shoes), and if you think about it, it's logical and rational to fire your damn guns with no regrets. All clues point to the fact that you're killing Cylons and saving 47,000 other people by doing so (they were using the Carrier to track the Fleet).

Find DamoclesX and nick his models.....

Oh, and
Spoiler:

It's not a Cylon chip in Baltars head, it's guilt.

Apparently.  (I think it's mentioned in some interview for the mini-series or whatnot, I can't find the place I saw it originally; I don't know if that still stands for the tv series, of course)

Oh, and 10=best so far.

It's not guilt either.  Six is going to be visible to Adama and the others later on according to The Lowdown thingy they had on SciFi.

Spoiler:
Not just visible.

I read the US version has a different title theme - and it's said to be a lot worse than the UK theme.

There's a title theme?  It just kinda seems to go into the story...

I dunno.  The guilt thing - I think related to the DVD commentary for the mini-series; so it might have been changed since then, or I read dodgy info.  I can say that
Spoiler:

With 2 eps left, there's been no indication of 6 becoming visible to anyone else.  Well.... not the 6 in Baltars head......

Well, sure, that specific Six won't appear visually. Unless she'd transfer her whatever-it-is-conscience to another model.

Spoiler:
Lib, she'll be visible in a later episode, though it's not her - riddle, eh?

Interesting...yeah, the Canadian/UK version I think is slightly better.  Although the US versions military march bit sounds ok too.  Really both are good and I'm wondering why they didn't just use the same thing.

I read it somewhere - the SCIFI manager thought the UK theme wasn't appropriate for the US market, so she ordered a new one. Whatever that means.

Edit : IIRC, that has happened before, with Star Trek TOS. German version was different from the standard version.
Edit2 : did a search - I must have mixed up sth there. Disregard it. ;)

Well, the first part of Kobol's Last Gleaming certainly kicked some serious ****in' ass.

Attempted suicide, a Base Star, gratuitous Starbuck-nudity, death, carnage, mayhem, Six bouncing Baltar's head off a mirror......

Today: 33/water again. :blah:

Edit: Also, MP3s are crap for the music, especially using Quicktime :p The UK theme's a little bit better, although neither really seem outstanding.

I'm waiting on that BSG mod too, IceFire. ;)

Bloody hell, Kobals Last Gleaming Part 1 was the better than a whole season of Enterprise.

Does anyone have an MP3 of the US theme music then? Why do your versions always get messed with (edited, cut, etc) - That kinda thing is what determines the life and death of a show! Sad TV suits.
