That is the one I use. The one in the Media VP is crap (less detail, no ridges on engines, etc) compared to that one. I accept nothing less. ;)

just put -ambient_factor 75 into your command line options in the main FS2 Open Launcher under the 'features' tab. Take note that it's the open launcher,not the retail launcher!

There's nowhere to type anything in the launcher though. (I realise this is probably painfully obvious to other people)

Yes there is, under features there's a box for custom command line arguments.  Enter it there.

I can see the box but I can't type into it, I click with the cursor in the box and then type but nothing happens.

Download the newest launcher if you do not have it. If you have the newest version already, try with an older one.

I do not know, this is not what it is supposed to look like, isn't it?
Not having a sun seems to screw this up. Of course this can only happen to me to test it in subspace right at the first time.
This does not happen if there is a sun.
Should I put this into Mantis?

What, the fact that there is no ambient light?  I think that's what's supposed to happen, IIRC, since subspace missions usually have a sun at both ends of the tunnel.

You could always copy your command line from the window to an external shortcut to FSO, and then just add the command line on manually and run it from there.

Or he could try typing into the custom flags box rather than directly into the command line args display area as I suspect he's doing :D

Sorry to laugh Kie, It's not really your fault as no one told you exactly where to type it but it is quite funny if that was your mistake.

just to inform y'all, the grading will have to wait.  Troubles getting an image making thing online.  Anyhoo, some of those screenshots look 1337!
