I'm really curious to see how THHGTTG goes.. hopefully it'll be great. But of course it could be terrible.

Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Yeah, except those games sucked, and all the other ones that have been made into movies aren't much better. Plus, Silent Hill is actually a game that would work well as a movie, and the makers of the game have as much influence over the movie's production as possible.

Seriously, I've seen so much crap this year that seeing a good movie is like digging for diamonds in cesspit.  The movies I'm looking forward to this year are any good ones. Be it drama or action or horror. Just something that makes me feel I wasn't ripped off.
I have returned... Again...

^ That. And any obscure movie that looks decent.

The only thing I want to see is hitchhiker.  It's not going to be as good as the books, but it will still be a riot.

Narnia? :wtf: They're making a film called Narnia? Well that's going to suck - how can you fit all the books into one film? Or is it just LWW: The Movie?

Voyage of the Dawn Treader is the best anyway....

As for me, I'm not really sure. The Magic Roundabout could be good, but it's probably going to be awful. I'm definitely seeing HHGTTG. I'm kind of on-edge about the Dark Materials films - they're some of the best books I've ever read, but the studios have had all the potentially controversial religious stuff removed (which kind of screws the plot over), and has given the usual "it won't go down well in middle America" bull**** excuse... :doubt:
Any fool can pull a trigger...

What exactly was the case with that? Did he write the script and/or direct it, or just quality control or something?
