Artsy layout I like...

The water reflection at the bottom of the picture looks good, but as it goes to meet the hills, it looks pretty awful.

Everything lese is looking pretty good, although the border between land and sea(I THINK there is one) could be a bit more clear.

Not jealous of the Moon picture, are you?

what did you use to do it with?

if it was 3dsmax turn the specular strength down and up the glossiness (s155,g87 should do it)

if it was something else...errr...nevermind

Running lights? What running lights? You see that background? It's gotta be a good few hundred metres away from the foreground. You want running lights, you'll have to deal with... ships about the size of your thumb. And adding laser glows won't be easy because I do all effects post-process.

Hence, the lighting is hard. QED.
