Construction facility
Does anyone know what and EA construction facility looks like?

AFAIK B5 has not seen any of those facilites. The only thing I know of was that construction site of the Excalibur and its sister ship in "A Call To Arms". On the other had, that was more of an ISA station - but it's a start.

In Star Trek Armada 2/Babylon 5 mod you can see many Stations and Ships from Dilgar War to 20 years after Babylon 5.

I was part of that mod team a very long time ago and we made up all of those designs because there wasn't any reference for them even in B5 Wars, some were pretty cool though.

Looking good boewolf. If you want an idea of what the EA shipyards we came up with were just imagine something like the Star Trek shipyards except with an Orion Starbase (The round Earth base from ITB) rotating on its side...more or less something like that.

Why do I remember seeing an ingame picture of Den5's EA drydock? Wasn't it supposed to be in his ShipsPack2 or something? Hopefully it will be included in later releases :)

Hey Nuad'Dib, maybee you could help me with getting the mod to work...  I can't seem to get into any forums about this mod and I was wondering what other options I might have in getting this mod to install...  Got any ideas given that I have downloaded the B5 for A2 three times from three different places all with the same result.

I ask because I realy want to give it a go..

Hmm, that sounds very strange boewolf. I recall there were installation issues in the real early builds of the mod but I believe they had been fixed in the current builds at Armadafleetcommand.com.

Since I was part of the team (And in the very early builds of the A1-A2 crossover) I never installed the finished product through the provided installer. I used to have to do it the old longer way of installing each ship, weapon, station, etc manually one at a time, also since I was making a personal multiple universe hybrid mod I needed to add things individually for compatibility issues. As such I never had any issues with them other than crashes from mispelled labels or those damn missing " which crashed the game all the time. It's been a very long while since I've had any contact with the guys in the mod, frankly I don't even believe they're active as a group any longer or at least aren't working in A2 anymore.

I found for you the last website we had, hasn't been updated in a while, however right there in the news there is a link for an updated installer with the patch, maybe that will solve your installation problems? I hope that helps.

Their forums seem to have gone down a while back and never got fixed, maybe you can e-mail someone from the staff's list if you continue to have problems installing. The only guranteed way I know you can get things to work is by adding them one at a time and that takes a lot of editing and work, believe me. If I can help you with anything else you can PM me and I'll try to help you put a bit more so we don't hijack the threads of the good folks here. :)

Ok...  Even there I can only find the 1.0.1 version and it still won't install...  Do you still have those old files by chance?  If you do, and if I can get you some webspace could I please ask you to upload them a few at a time so I can install it the old long way?

There is a 1.0.2 patch but it needs 1.0.1 already installed.  Damned windows xp

I do have my old files saved on a cd in case I ever had the inclination to finish the mod I was making for myself. The only problem is that all the files I have are mixed: I replaced most of the ST ships with newer models, I also have tons of new weapons, a good number of the B5 stuff but not all since there was stuff I wasn't interested in (Such as the Rangers side, I just kept the Victory and the White Star and put them with the League), I also have huge numbers of Star Wars ships and even Wing Commander ships and many left over stuff I eliminated over the years which I didn't want to search for to eliminate, mainly left over textures.

What I mean by all this is that there's little chance I'd be able to separate all of this stuff in order to get you the B5 stuff, plus I changed some things such as custom weapons etc and even still you'd have to add everything manually if I could get you everything. Maybe you'd have better luck trying to e-mail someone from staff to see if they can respond to the install problem. Sorry.

Ok...  Here is something that looks a lot more like an EA dry dock than the other one I have.

Front.

Back.

The old one I still intent to use.  But for a very different perpose.

I like it.  It could stand to have a thicker rotational section.  The one in A Call to Arms had a massive rotating section.

I KILLED IT!!!  The result is so hidiouse that I can't bring myself to show anyone...

It's not the skin that needs adjusting. The UV Map is horribly stretched.

See the little blue and white checker board icon? Play about with it and the options you can pop up from it's icon.
