Saw that happen to the uncle of a friend of mine. Brain tumors have a knack for never really going away...

Harsh. Really harsh.

Edit: It shows you how popular this is: for the first time ever my connection to a BBC news site timed out.

When my dad was in his teens his mother aka my Grandmother, was in the pub after my Uncles football game where she just fell off the stool and died.
Brain Tumor.

Back then they didn't know much about them, but My Granddad was pretty badly effect about it.

They do suck.

I got catscans etc when I was younger, got a day off school on the +.

A bit like Melkor eh? :nervous:

I'll just go back to my cave.

But on this subject, yeah. Brain tumors royally suck. My friends mom had one. But thankfully it was benign. So they operated. Still, the thought that something growing in your brain can alter your thoughts and the way you preceive the world,  scares the **** out of me.
I have returned... Again...

I thought that Melkor/Morgoth was cast into the void or something along those lines.

Eh, you've got the wrong theology. :p

Ah. And this is why names should not be reused in fantasy books, as it causes vast amounts of confusion :D

EDIT: Actually, no mention of Melkor in that passage. In fact, as this shows, no mention of a Melkor anywhere in the Bible. Through a Google search containing the terms Melkor and Bible, the only results that come up are the ones that deem the Silmarillion to be allegory to Christianity, which Tolkien is probably rolling in his grave about, and the ones that refer to the novel as the "bible" of Middle Earth, as it gives a background to the story.

Sillmarilion is awfully similar to Christianity, or any monotheistic religion for that matter.
But it does resemble christianity the most....

Translation:
We can't ban him so we're pretending like we're still deciding and waiting till everyone forgets about it.

I'm guessing he plugged that NTL-Middlesbrough IP into IE and realised it's a proxy. So they don't want to risk provoking me till they've got my real IP and can rehash the whole "We'll call [ISP] if you don't stop!" threat - despite the fact I keep telling them I couldn't hack my way out of a paper bag.

If only people would listen......

We actually can't ban by IP because of the Gamespy proxy.

But if you insist...
