A question for everyone.
Ok so, which of your human rights would you absolutely not stand for losing?

Personally I've though long and hard (arf) about it and come to the conclusion that I would be out in the streets protesting if they tried to ban the right to party and it would be petrol bomb city (nice place, you should visit it) if they tried to deny the basic human right of hardcore porn.

I'm sure there are more, but those are the two most immediate to mind. Have fun.

On which part?

And yes, article 1.

I've said this before but it should be said again to get it through to the neo-cons who will eventually pop up:

I would rather risk being blown up by a terrorist while walking down the street, than have the right to walk down that street taken away from me piece by piece.

Basic rights of expression and privacy. Things like gun ownership and smoking I really don't care that much about.

All of them...

probably 1st amendment rights the most hard, followed quickly by the 2nd, without which the Public has no remaining power over their Representatives.

Loss != limitation. Limitations of civil rights are natural and can't be avoided.

So, I could not live with limitations that go beyond proportionality. Thus, any loss of civil rights would have me write some really, really serious letters to whoever is responsible. Come on folks, that's the top of what most people here and wherever that happens, despite intentions of protests or even civil disobedience, would do in the "worst case".

Edit : typo.
