I'll be honest, I still like the current one more.  But if there's code to randomly choose then the VP should include both.

As for the Perseus glowpoints, make sure you put 'em in the right mod dir. that never workds out well. ;)


errr....anti-aliased? :nervous: shouldnt be a problem...except you'd have to give up the shiny-maps then, cause they dont run in D3D on this Radeon 9250......

I've put the glowpoints and stuff into the correct directories, but it still won't work, which is rather odd, actually :/

Yeah you must have another model overriding it somewhere, as I've tested that model in particular a dozen times or more.  I don't know what to tell you.

hmmmm.......

ill see what I can do, and delete any instances of the model i come accross, and then re-install it in. Maybe that should work.......

Yeah my first response would be a find "fighter2t-03.pof" in Freespace 2 and see what turns up.  The VP's shouldn't be overriding it, unless you've got the media vp's in a mod directory and this in main.

I may actually have a fixed version of the Sobek coming out soon... It all depends on if the shading in game is correct, since the shading in modelview isn't.

Ok, I did as suggested by stratcomm, and it STILL wont show the glowpoints...grrr....no matter, at least I managed to get a new picture, this time the res is a lot higher.

no AA unfortunately, as shinemaps dont work in D3D...and it just sucks without shineymaps :(
