Is there a way to do something like the lvlshot tags in HTML? Or at least just make a picture smaller than its real size?
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

Where width and height are the new dimensions.

on a more on-topic note, if you do use the img tag to resize an image, it still has the same effect as lvlshot in that the image itself takes the same amount of time to load, so if you take your 1024x768 render that's 100kb and resize it with an img tag, it'll still take a long time to load for those poor saps on unfast connections

No, Damon. I don't have any beef with Jesus. In fact, I like him. He was a good rabbi who said some good things and unfortunately got killed for it by the Romans.

AFAIK Yep. The only way to speed up loading time would be a seperate thumbnail image.

Yep. Be preferable for BB too actually. Just cause you have the bandwidth to download 10MB of images on a gallery page doesn't mean that it's a good idea :D

It's common sense to make thumbnails, and common courtesy to warn people if the link is to a huge file.  I always try to be nice to 56Kers when I'm building sites...:)
