Ok, watched this last night. 2 Things sprang to mind immediately...

1 : What is your average Crack Military commando team's problem with using a doorbell once in a while?

2 : Why did I keep expecting to see Sigourney Weaver pop up from the Woodwork?

Still, not a bad film as such, just not an especially good one.

Would this be Res Evil 1? It wasn't bad. In fact it was downright fun at times. Then again, I didn't expect much.

Apocalypse I may take issue with tho.

The first one was fun, not incredibly stretching in the sceme of things but it was a neat action movie.

The second one also featured some neat action, but promptly lost the plot entirely and never seemed to recover it. The ending amused me greatly in that - if there is ever a Resident Evil 3 - the foes that whats-her-face encounters will have to be incredibly powerful to stand a snowballs chance in hell against her newly developed powers.

Or they could focus on Racoon City PD. Heaven forbid.

LOL Yep, it was one. The film was good, the only downside for me was that it seemed a copy of Aliens with Zombies, right down to the 'Vasquez wannabe', problem is, Vasquez would have kicked her butt from one side of the Hive to the other ;)

I enjoyed both movies, all though the second one felt like some 25 year old gamer/matrix fanboy who had finally gotten the reins of a special effects machine.

Didn't like either to be honest. Good attempts I suppose to market to the younger kiddies, but they werent exceptional. But they were entertaining. I'll give them that.
I have returned... Again...

With the knowledge that they were both built upon computer games, I enjoyed both of them quite alot.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

Whats-her-face (if you mean Alice) appears to be the foe at the end of RE2. The doctor guy says "activate program Alice" and it shows little umbrella signs flash in her eyes and she's like under their control like Nemesis was or something. But then, I guess Nemesis rebelled against that control, so maybe the same'll happen for her. Who knows. They were okay, nothing to get worked up about. :doubt:
