Damnit all to hell!!!!!!:hopping:

It keeps crashing.  This is what I get for trying to run it on a minimum spec system.

The devil take it all!

I get decent framerates, and there are no problems it's just a random period of time after I start...boom...crash city.

I'm minimum on all spec except the processor

DX: requires 9.0b, I have 9.0c
Processor: requires 1ghz, I have 1800+
Memory: requires 256mb, i have 256
it doesn't say how much swap file it needs.

Spoiler:
I prefer the pure destruction rationale when going to the dark side.  Which, incidentally, involves slaughtering every single living thing in the Sith Academy on Korriban. Makes me feel a bit dirty, though.

Pfft, they attacked you first. And besides, if 25+ of them can't stand up to you and two others, they deserve whats coming (Calo and HK-47, fully loaded out and packin' heat in my case).

Oh and, use spoilers tag. Don't want to ruin it for Lib.

Any ideas why it keeps crashing?

The computer or just the game? If its the computer, it might be overheating.

Also, assuming you have a legit copy of the game, try patching it to whatever the newest version is. Thats all I can think of.

Offline Grey Wolf

Not really, except for perhaps overheating.

And Rictor...
Spoiler:
I'd say it was a conscious decision, given the fact that in the battle in the tomb I chose the "I'm Revan, now die!" style reply. Of course, the stupid apprentices did try standing up to Darth Revan, so they deserved their deaths.

Incidentally, this now makes me want to replay the game...

Well:
Spoiler:
Redeeming Yuthura is interesting, especially if you do it before Dantooine is destroyed and you go and talk to her. It's one of the better dialogs in the entire game.

You gotta love HK, though I think he's even better in KOTOR2 :)

(Paraphrasing here)
Exile: "Actually you and the HK-50s sound pretty similar..."
HK-47: "Exclamation: Master, the HK-50s lack the menacing static hissing sound in the background that inspires fear in meatbags! I also find it hard to believe that you missed the fact that they call meatbags 'organics,' which is quite detestable!"

AH!  That's better, I turned down the texture details and it works fine now, I also found the quick save key so if it crashes again I won't have 35-40 minutes of work to redo.

Bastila is all saved and stuff.  Quite the ego she's got there(close to the same size as Kazan's).

As far as the plot twist you blokes were on about:
Spoiler:
Bastila is possessed by Revan

Yes, Bastila has been twisted by the evil of the darkside... forever! *cue cheesy Malak laugh* Or has she?

...and we all know you like being subservient to people with large egoes... ;)

Needless to say, when you learn about Revan some more you'll find out why Atton think she's the sexiest Sith Lord ever. ...or was he just hoping Revan was a woman? *dum dum dum*

Umm, I'm in the apartment on Tiras just after saving Bastila.  I don't know who "Atton" is or why he is obsessed with Revan.  I determined that Bastila was possessed(or somesuch) because the blast from Revan killed her buddies and not her.

And for the record?  I'd like to rip out Kazan's still beating heart sometimes.  How can anyone go through life with such a jaundiced veiw on life?

Look in the mirror, your theology is just as jaundiced :p

Atton is in KOTOR2. He's a scoundrel, you'll hate him.

I can neither confirm nor deny Bastilla's involvement with any deceased Sith Lords, though I can say that she mellows out a bit as the game progresses, though remains quite arrogant throughout BTW Lib, its Taris.

As for Atton, erm, have I missed something? Where is he specifically? I don't remember anyone like that.

I haven't played KOTOR2 yet. Though (by the looks of it) neither has Lib and he's found him in the apartments on Taris.

wait, is he the guy who has a bounty on his head who you can help fake his own death?
