Favorite Star Wars Character?
Let me revise mine:
Villian: Darth Vader
Hero (sort of): Han Solo
EU character: HK-47

or HK-47. It's a toughie. Overall I think the characters in KOTORI/II are more clever and thought out than the rest of the StarWars stuff. Including the original trilogy though it has to get brownie points for being first.

I haven't played KotOR II yet, but I'd have to say that Vader seemed much more effective than Malak.

Trim down your sig. It's too large. Aim for 7 lines or less, as opposed to the 10 or so you have at the moment (at 1024x768 the KT quote covers multiple lines).

Perhaps something along these lines:
Shivans and HOL be damned. Unless you're on their side.
Fan of FS1 & 2, WC Prophey, Star Wars XWA, Medal of Honor, TIE Fighter, etc.

I got a little list, actually...

Wedge Antellis (sp)
Corran Horn (My all time favorite character)
Kyle Kattarn
Jan Ors
Talon Karde
Tycho (I forgot his last name)
Mirax Terrik (I think thats how her last name is spelled. She's Corran's wife)
HK-47
Delta 62
Dash Rendar

For some reason, I prefer the EU characters to the ones in the movies, although Wedge is in the movies, but not that much. Don't get me wrong, though the characters in the movies are good. I just think the development of the EU characters (especially Corran in "I, Jedi". Best Star Wars book EVAR!!!!!111!!!one1) is better and stronger than those in the movies.

You must mean 8t8-88...IG-88 was long dead by that point.

I might answer Corran, except he's a dead ringer for Victor Davion, and Victor has fallen from my grace of late.

So, Wedge Antilles, then. Followed closely by the Handmaiden and HK-47. Tycho Celchu and Garik "Face" Loran are tied for fourth, and Talon Karrde and Kell Tainer tie for fifth.

Whether or not that's true is a little vague. There were four (identical) IG-88 units, designated A-D. They took over an extremely mechanized world. IG-88B was sent out to learn about the galaxy at large and became a bounty hunter; however, he was destroyed by Boba Fett at cloud city, but not before he transferred his consciousness back to Mechis III.
IG-88C and IG-88D attempted to disable/destroy Boba Fett's ship, however, he destroyed IG-88C, who transferred himself to IG-88D, who was then shortly destroyed afterwards by Boba Fett as well. He was so shocked that he forgot to upload himself to Mechis III.
Meanwhile, IG-88A intercepted a freighter carrying the Death Star II computer core, killing the original crew and replacing them with robot substitutes. He then uploaded himself into the computer core, and destroyed the original freighters (with his robotic body onboard, I believe.)
As a result, he was inhabiting the Death Star II's computer core when it blew up..whether or not he transferred his consciousness is unclear.

End result: One or two IG-88 personalities were left on Mechis III post-BOE, and an IG-88 chassis was left on Cloud City. (Boba Fett destroyed IG-88B by detonating his own grenades inside of his chassis, but the outer armor apparently still survived; see the background of Cloud City in the Ugnaughts scene. ;) )

There was an IG-88 model in Young Jedi Knights, but it apparently did not have its original programming. It got lightsabered into several pieces, as might be expected.

But the droid in Jedi Knight was definitely 8t8-88.

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill
