My copy of 3D Exploration ran out, and I need this model to be switched to double-faced. It's in 3DS format. www.3dap.com/hlp/hosted/gtdwolf/x05.3ds

Thanks. I couldn't flip it manually either because my copy of Rhino3D ran out at about the same time.

My copy of 3D Exploration still works, it just limits you on views and saves.

Limits you on saves? No kidding. It won't let you do ANY saves.

I need to find a way to export to COB too...now that I have fleeting access to 3dsMAX, I might be able to do it there, if not directly, with the aid of a plugin.

I can export from 3ds to cob with it. I can save once then I have to restart the program, must be the version you have.

Looks like I did the right thing by never upgrading 3DE. I can still use it as much as I want without any real limitations

I dunno about using 3de to convert stuff to .cob. I've had it do some funky stuff like triple my poly count for no apparent reason. I think you might be better off just loading your 3ds into TS and saving it in .cob that way.
