My friend's grandmother's housemate apparently left an unexploded WW2 shell with the rest of his stuff.

It could actually be a calming influence if you used something like that ...people's tempers would rarely get to the point of banging on the table.

I used to have a naval artillery shell as an ashtray. It was 3 feet tall, and 12 inchs wide. And i still own an AAA shell case as a paperweight. Advantages of having lived half my life in a naval base. I used to raid the naval depots for cool stuff. But i sold most of it to feed my addiction...

Anyway, mummy and daddy are too rich for me to be entitled to much of a student loan, so I don't have one.  Not rich enough to buy me a novelty table though, so you can never win, really.
