well I got the idea during one of those classifucation discutions when someone mentioned that frigets were mostly sub hunters, so I thought, there are no subs. then I found the SSM, and I thought there are no ships to fire it.

anyway think of this thing as a stealth capshipcan't realy be detected, and can come out of nowere and launch a massive voly of torpedos to pumle smaller ships, or can launch the torps from subspace for nuking larger ships in safety.

well you'd have to fight it the same way that subs are fought today, subspace depth charges. you senda bomb into subspace and if you can guess it's subspace layer you can nock it out into normal space forcably.
or you could lay a trap, make it think it's won, it comes into the aria to capture cargo and disabled ships you jump in with a couple of bombers and some destroiers nock out its vulnerable exposed jump drive and it's dead becase it's actual weaponry is mostly huge turrets and a few fish launchers, it only has three anti capship beams mounted on the front.

   Fish launchers?  Is that for distracting head-hunting Vasudans?

Nice model, much better than anything i've come up with.

Pirahna.

This is a really powerful little ship. At least if used like it's supposed to be used.

So, can you send some small ships into subspace to blast it? If you can send "subspace depth charges", I don't see why you couldn't send a fighter. At least a specialized subspace fighter.

I actualy made a bunch of subspace modified fighters and bombers, and if you can get to it this ship isn't very good at defending herself, (from cap ships at least, prety good with fighters and bombers) it would be good for an escort mission, say it needs to get into alighnment with the gravity well of a large planet in order to enter a subspace apature and it's stuck in normal space for a few minutes, or hae it getting nocked out of subspace and you have to defend it until the knosial coials can be repaired. if you fail then the next mission you won't have SSM.
