very nice, i wanted to build a subspace instalation that could fade in and out of subspace. while in subspace it would provide all tha ammo for the ssm. it would get knocked out of subspace if a big enough capship fired off its motivators in the stations vacinity. but the freespace code as it stands in incapable of this.
now as it seems this ship of yours (all be it very cool) is not very good at open space firefights. the ragnarok class corvette (finally named the damn thing, doom of the gods in norse mytology) on the other hand is designed for hit and runs. it warps in 10 clicks out, starts launching its first pair mesons closes to about 6 clicks and releases a volly of 8 fusion warheads every 6 seconds. and then its beams come in range by the time the mesons are ready to go again. pulled off correctly ragnarok can crush any shivan destroyer by itself (unless it makes itself a target of a couple well plased BFRED blasts). a small group of 3 of them will be fully capable of taking out a fully powered sathanas. those who built ragnarok obviously got ahold of the sj sathanas tactical manual.
