Thanks guys.  This morning the doc said the smallest ones are already gone, ans she is confident about the rest of them healing soon, the flash burn to the retinae will take a bit mroe time though, so the worst part will be pain...nothing permanent.

That's fortunate.  I just have one question: how exactly did this stove explode?  That seems like it should be the #1 design criteria for the things.
who needs a signature? ;)

Sounds to me like testing for safety was what Shadow was doing just before it failed pretty spectacuarly.

What I'm more concerned about is why your compaines Health and Safety policy didn't require the use of heat resistant safety glasses while testing these things :(

i was testing it for a customer.  just to ensure that it wortked, not for safety or Q/A.  well it doesn't work right, i found that out.  but from now on we all have to wear safety goggles when checking over a stove.

Faulty burner Strat...i don't pretend to knwo the particulars, but there are coils inside the electric "coil" that we see on the stove.  i know about the inner coils, because one is now sticking up through the ruptured area of the burner that blew.  I should look into it more, buyt near as i can figure, the inner coil heats the gasses, and they heat the outter coil, which is what we see.  The outter coil is the one that cut loose and sent the stuff out.  I happened to be leaning over the stove to shut it off when this happened, how's that for irony.

Anyway, from what the doc said, the eyes have the thinnest layer of skin on the body, which is why it hurts so damned bad...the nerves are right there, but on the other hand, they also heal faster than any other body part for this same reason.

Raa makes me feel so dirty.
