It's simply amazing, there's no other way to describe it.

Real quick to clarify, this isn't the eve-online gfx engine, rather, a superb cgi representation.  I wish these were the graphics though.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. EVE is one of the best looking games in existance. The art style is simply lovely.

That said, does anyone know the proper name for the wailing, Eastern sounding music that plays in the video? I've loved that stuff for years, except I don;t know what its called, and I don't know any artists, if they even exist, so I just get the odd snippet here and there by chance.

I don´t understand how they managed to place such eye candy in such a small package. The EVE client prog is 450mb in size.

EDIT: i like the movie but i still wish i could pilot my own ship not some of this rpg **** ... wish some skill actually came into it ... yaknow collisions possible etc id maneuver my crow so close to yer large ships yed never hit meh hehehehe

Me and another Punisher took down a pair of Dominixes ealier today. Microwarpdrives 4tw. Could have got a good chain going, but the bastard cruisers ran off. Guess they got freaked out by the sight of two battleships getting picked apart by frigates that cost less than one of their turrets.

Also, I ran into Hunt Smacker in 0.0 today.

I just completed the first of the agent tutorial missions...  The buy Garbage on the market and go get it one ticked me off as for some reason i couldn't get it done the right way.  Put in an order, went to the system i bought it from,  then the station, but couldn't pick it up.  So i cancelled the order and just bought some...

I played in the beta, and aside from the graphics, which really are beautiful, the game was extremely boring for me. It seems like they put too much emphasis on having a realistic, player run economy at the expense of fun and ease, plus the insane distances between anything really wear you down.
