i posted links to FS2 Models that i have drawn from scratch. These are an attempt to be 'good', but my drawing skills i dont think are too good, im getting better at this.

Most of my Models are Terran design, and some are Vasudan.
I just checked, i have only about less then half of all my Models with me, sorry, i thought i had them all. I will get the remanent up sometime in a week or two at most.

These, because i have no MODing cability, (Tho i will try to learn.."Blender32?" and the other one i .. may have) im allowing and hopeing some of you would like to make them into real models and MOD's.

You can use them in whatever manner you like, and in campaigns, but please give credit to me and the one who made the model.

When you have finished a model, please post it, or a link to it, in the next thread, that has my links to my models.

Any good mannered critisizm is appreciated. I would love to learn how to draw better.

Also, some of your own modifications are fine, tho i would like them to be as close to the origional drawing as possible.

More like we may model them for ourselves.  Though unless you're willing to commission one of us to do them, you're extremely unlikely to get us to follow your design to the letter.  I usually use concept art as an inspiration, rather than a blueprint.

Eh. Was just hopeing if anyone wanted to practice or do it in their spare time, they could do it; would be interesting.

Eh, this was just a thought. Thought it would be more accepted.

My hope was that ppl MOD'ed for fun.. hehe, so it wouldent be so bad doing these.

Modders tend to mod as a form of self-expression.  I'd bet 99% of us do this because we want to add our own stamp to the game; hence doing someone elses design usually holds no interest except in the case of total conversions where it's because we want to play with a particular universe which we know & love.

The fun parts comes from finishing something we want to make, not something someone else wants us to make.  That's how it works, really.

My handwrighting sucks, and il edit this later and post.. what its suspose to say for each one. Keep in mind, this is first time trying to do 3d models, and evermore, ships.

Seconded.

And Charismatic, drawings are not models.  The proper term for such work is concept art (drawing a concept, that you or another modeler turns into a model) though those pictures hardly depict concepts of any kind.  Similar to how "3BGreens, 15 Blob turrets, 10 flak turrets" isn't a good description of a ship mod without an actual model, a couple of lines and random circles are not a good depiction of something that can be modeled.  Concept art usually has more detail than you're going to typically see on a game model, not less.

The first drawing looks like the GTD Dild* with 2 extra balls mid-ship. And the pubic hair type lines don´t help it any.
The last is an Orion.

Sorry, but i don´t think anyone can build anything out of those drawings.

My advice if - like me - you're not a particularly gifted artists is to a) practice and b) try and draw in a way to convey an idea; i.e.if you can't capture exactly what you're aiming for (something IMO you have to be pretty gifted to do), draw something intended to evoke the same effect and stimulate you into remembering what you wanted.

Hmm. Well all suggestions taken. More drawings (that i have drawn already) will be posted next weekend.
Well.. im getting better, and im going to start focusing on Fighters.

Well sorry my.. 'not quite consept art' work isnt that good, but im trying, as i said. Having somewhat of a hard time drawing fighters ATM.

Il try to do more detail, and bigger drawn models, from now on.

Try drawing based off existing models; that should help you get a feel for the ergonomic design of them.

Charismatic, it seems to me that you are young, but inexperienced ( judging by your art).
Now is the perfect time for you to learn how to model. I'm sure people would be willing to help you with that.
Think about it like this: If you have an idea for a book, it is useless to try and peddle it to an accomplished author. You have to learn how to write it yourself; no one will write your books for you.

Edit: Besides, you're the only one who really knows how you want the designs to look. No one else will be able to create what you are imagining.
