The Descent-Network site for FS2 has lost its domain name.  It lost it on 4/11/05:wtf:

Does anyone have what was on there available for download, specifically the Shivan, Terran, Vasudan comparison Pic?

It compares there size, there is a Terran Marine on the left, a Naked vasudan in the Middle and a pissed off-looking Shivan on the right.

The Descent Network site is unofficial and contains a s**tload of tools. (VPView etc.)

Vasudans, IIRC, wear some sort of armour plate in the briefing cutscne in FS1, that's about it.

Albiet, it makes sense; Vasudans evolved in a very harsh desert climate and have tough skin to match; the main reason for humans wearing clothes in the first place was likely protection against the elements, especially cold, so there's no equivalent need for the vasudans.

Actually, it doesn't look like the content has been moved there; all of the links I found for Freespace 2 content still point to freespace-2.com.  I know that the domain for the rest of the site was recently renewed; I wonder if Heiko is planning to renew this specific domain.  If anyone has any contact info for him, it might be a good idea to contact him about it.
