I dont know whether to be hyped or bummed. Too long have I been living in this wretched armpit of a city called Sacramento, even though I have grown acustomed to the benefits. I've lived here pretty much all of my life, and it may be time for a change.
The family and I are looking into an isolated private community on the very edges of Lodi. There, lies a quiet, yet fun manufactured home park. It is much more affordable than the same type of home in Sacramento, so it definately caught our eye. There are many pros and cons to this location, which leave me in an uncomfortable position.
The great things about this home is that the air is clean, the crime is literally zero, and housing costs are low. Along the side of the home park is a marina, a medium sized golf course, tennis courts, soccer fields, and publicly run farmlands. The amount of recreation options are astounding from just a five minute walk.
However, this all comes at a price. Aside from the home park, there are no residential or commercial structures for eight miles. That's right, a developed suburbia smack dab in the middle of nowhere. Driving will be a costly venture, as the closest real grocery store is 11 miles away, hospital is 18 miles away, and gas prices are at $2.69/gallon. Furthermore, the said area is unfamiliar to me, and it is very complex. Also, it's a new place and I am a bit nervous as to the lifestyle changes we will be making over the course of the next three weeks. Most importantly, as far as internet is concerned, Satelite broadband is my only option

.
Oh well. I suppose this will be a valuable experience for me. Perhaps this change will cause me to actually get a life, and make some worth. But I know that after the end of the week, you might not see me for a while.
I honestly don't know what to say, or what to think
