Damn, it won't let me quote that many times.
Wash: This landing's gonna get pretty interesting.
Mal: Define "interesting".
Wash: *shrug* "Oh God, oh God, we're all gonna die"?
Mal: This is the captain. We have a little problem with our entry sequence, so we may experience some slight turbulence and then... explode.

By the way, when and why did Carl stop being an admin? I never found that out.

If you went over to NW and read the admin forum that an0n mirrored, I think it was explained there.

no one told me why. a pm would have been nice. i've just assumed that they didn't really need me anymore (they don't).

I was made an admin for the FS story thing, and for the mod database. well, we finished FS story, and the mod database went boom, so Carl outlived his usefulness. Really, i was an Admin for longer than i should have been.

That's a classic example of what happens when the browser doesn't load the CSS file. SHIFT-F5 (or SHIFT-click on refresh for Firefox) should do the trick.

And I barely remember you being unadmined. I think I was fresh on the team at the time. :nervous:

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

That's what happens to me when I try to look at the main page in Firefox. No amount of refreshing works (I just tried your idea and it didn't work).
"The reason for this is that the original Fortran got so convoluted and extensive (10's of millions of lines of code) that no-one can actually figure out how it works, there's a massive project going on to decode the original Fortran and write a more modern system, but until then, the UK communication network is actually relying heavily on 35 year old Fortran that nobody understands." - Flipside

Can you download or otherwise access this link: http://dynamic4.gamespy.com/~freespace/hlp/scripts/style.css

That's the CSS.

Although the fact that you couldn't load the images means something is probably wrong between your computer and the server. Again.

It's displaying what looks like source code of some sort. Is that what it should be displaying?
