Again, this is the full 3:48 sec version of the song (Instrumental)
Japanese Vocal versions also exist, but for instrumental purposes, i'll just post the instrumental version.

Ah, those crazy Japanese love their heavy metal. ^_^ We need a smiley that's headbanging or doing the metal salute. for this kind of stuff.
*Listens another time* Hmm, Cobra's tone sounds incredibly similar to the original. There should be a slight variation in tone, because there's no way they are using the same gear to play or record.

(Almost all the tone is in your fingers.) The only explanation is he took a ridiculous amount of time to figure out how to dial in the exact tone, which is just ludicrous, because pretty much everyone would want to put their own stamp on a cover.
I think this was pieced together from the original, which could explain the volume flucuations, and the quality brought down so it sounds like crap in the first place, but it shows he has good editing skills, as you have to do it on the beat with music.
I will wait for the person to speak for himself first however. If this is a ruse, then he is a sad, sad person. Awesome tune though. ^_^
