It sure is a burden, being intelligent. Or in my case, not all THAT intelligent, but I read a lot as a small kid. That knowledge easily propelled me through school to this point, and now the whole bloody family has such high hopes for me... damn stressful, that is.

My greatest fear (well, after spiders and heights) is to be ordinary. I really don't want to just get lost in mediocrety.

You could specialise in something noone around you knows or even cares about.

Sometimes its quite funny to watch everyones' face go blank when you start yapping on about something, but most of the time it really sucks because when you DO actually find someone who's on your level, more often than not you wind up competing with them.

Have you ever thought that maybe it's you who don't understand "the average people".

Kazan, I have really nothing against you (except this). But sometimes when you write these posts filled with elitism I get little a disturbed.
