Would like some c&c on it, and ideas for what to change/do to the nose of it, and something to put on the engine pod/some way to detail it more.

Interesting.  But it looks more like a drop ship to me.  The good old jump in collect a squad or drop them off type of ship.

I don't like something about it...but I can't quite put a finger on it. I think the coloration may be washing out detail, actually...

Those turrets make it look pretty small for a cruiser, and I've gotta say, it doesn't look very Freespace Terran, though there is something familiar about the design.

It could work as a pirate ship - small, modified transport, designed for light fighter suppression?

Front looks a lot like the B5 Omega(?) destroyer.

That's the basic idea, but not pirate. Thinking more of a convoy-escort type of ship, probably something corporate.

Yeah. I'm horrible at fronts of ships, and wuv B5, so I thought I might try borrowing some inspiration.

I'm still stumped as to how to detail its nose.

edit: and it appears that since penguinbomb exploded, my pics don't show any more.
