Maddox had an awesome review of Ep.3. More than good enough to convince me not to see it. (Despite how I hadn't seen 1, or 2)

Also, don't mind Cobra. He's still PG-13, the target audience of the Star Wars movies really.

However, that impression got worse and worse the more one thought about the movie. Current;y, I wouldn't define Ep3 as a "good movie" by any standards. :ick:

Mr. & Mrs. Smith, however, is great. As I said before, the give and take between the two main characters is done most excellently, and stands on its own, without any help at all from the action scenes - which are also good.

Sandwich, you've let too many people tell you its a bad movie.  Think about it for yourself, who cares what others think.  EP 3 is a great movie.  Anyways, I loved Mr. and Mrs. Smith, it was a movie that was actually very entertaining, well worth the 7 bucks.

It's all relative, my dear sir. I realize Lucas made great strides in his movie-making skills compared to Episodes I and II. But now go watch Episodes IV thru VI, and then tell me Episode III is a "great movie".

"...The quintessential quality of our age is that of dreams coming true. Just think of it. For centuries we have dreamt of flying; recently we made that come true: we have always hankered for speed; now we have speeds greater than we can stand: we wanted to speak to far parts of the Earth; we can: we wanted to explore the sea bottom; we have: and so  on, and so on: and, too, we wanted the power to smash our enemies utterly; we have it. If we had truly wanted peace, we should have had that as well. But true peace has never been one of the genuine dreams - we have got little further than preaching against war in order to appease our consciences. The truly wishful dreams, the many-minded dreams are now irresistible - they become facts." - 'The Outward Urge' by John Wyndham

"The very essence of tolerance rests on the fact that we have to be intolerant of intolerance. Stretching right back to Kant, through the Frankfurt School and up to today, liberalism means that we can do anything we like as long as we don't hurt others. This means that if we are tolerant of others' intolerance - especially when that intolerance is a call for genocide - then all we are doing is allowing that intolerance to flourish, and allowing the violence that will spring from that intolerance to continue unabated." - Bren Carlill

I agree, I just rewatched the original series, and the entire thing was incredible. I could actually suspend my disbelief and enjoy the film, rather than being swamped by special effects. They were truly great films, altho after seeing Episodes I-III, I noticed one or two lines that bore George's distinct "crap-o-matic" stamp. :( Other than those one or two lines, though, the films (IV-VI) were awesome.

III was crap. It was overloaded with soulless special effects, and the entire star wars series was built on the undercurrent of a soul through the universe, which Episodes I-III plastic look, feel, and universe lack.

But yea, I think Natalie Portman was hot, way hotter than Leia :D And if you look carefully in Ep II, you'll see some nipple through that tight white shirt she has :D

I found Mr & Mrs Smith quite medicore. I'm usually into explosions and **** but this one just didn't appeal to me. I thought it was kinda the suck.

Maybe it was because I was having a bad day when I saw it though...

I enjoyed it. Just got back. It could be because the last movie I saw was "The Longest Yard" which sucked infected monkey tail, but this entertained me. from me.

Mr. and Ms. Smith rocked. The one-liners were awesome. The action was great, mostly, and the only scenes with the standard absurds of this kind of movie were the time they shoot the BMWs on the chase scene and they explode, and the last fight when they leave the small room with the bags. The dinner scene after the botched assassination in the desert was awesome.

Actually, Batman begins blew Mr & Mrs Smith out of the water. It was a better movie. (Note; I liked both)

Batman was awesome, and it was completely, utterly, no-discussion about it faithful to the comics. If you've ever read that new series..the first book is titled "Batman: Year One", then you'll see what I mean.
