Am I the only one who thinks that thing looks a hell of a lot like the Descent 2 bot that drained your ships shield energy in packs?

Nope, just one, as far as I know. It was the gold-colored one with two outstretched arms with static shooting between them. Annoying little things, especially when your Gauss's splashback ended up hurting you when trying to kill them.

The ship design has a slight resemblance, but it doesn't look that much like them.
