IIRC, the First Game created by Flagship Studio's (Run by Bill Roper and Co. of Starcraft, Warcraft, and Diablo fame).

If nothing else, DL the Cinematic Preview off the mainsites Downloads page. It's worth it.

So far, I have really high hopes for this one :).

You're right, it does look cool.
Feels awfully like doom tho.

So... did Diablo sell that bad in Britain for them to do that to London? :p

Interestingly enough, Roper and his associates insist that the game will be more like a Diabloesque RPG than an FPS.

Sounds like they're trying to play to their strengths.

Those Templars look friggin awesome, too.

Lol, just watched the video (extra large, yeah!). I doubt the effect was the one they wanted, but I found it very funny :D Those two templars are so badass, you can't take it seriously anymore :lol:

Well, duh! Thats the whole point of the cinematic Preview: Make the game look as baddass as humanly possible. Whatever else they did in the making, they succeeded there ;)

Besides, how seriously are you gonna take a game centered around Daemonic Takeover of Earth? :p

We have stepped into the next generation of PC graphics. Started by Doom 3, followed by Half Life 2 and now here is this Hellgate. Where to progress?
My community contributions - Get my campaigns from here.

I already announced my retirement twice, yet here I am. If I bring up that topic again, don't believe a word.

I hope they keep this to the PC...not like Halo, which was originally designed for the PC (back in December 1999) but then they just switched over to the X-Box.
