Sweet. But what about the text? Who's saying it? And why are they so hard on the Shivans- they're not evil, just misunderstood, I'm sure a support group they couldn't incinerate is all they need!

Glad you all like it, the text is just a "caption" not said by anyone but suitable to the picture...


and the Demon does have bump-mapping... maybe I can make it a bit better... not sure though.

Actually, I can tell (barely) that it is bump mapped. Bump mapping shows up the best when a relatively large face has nice contrasting textures (light grey hull plates with dark lines in between, for example), and has a light source shining on it from a shallow angle. Because the Demon in your pic is mostly in shadow, bump mapping has almost no effect on the render (aside from that one lit-up spot, that is...).

I figured out what the picture needs- all the red areas on the Shivan ships to be glowing. Making the self-illumination maps might be tricky- but if you can pull it off, worth it.

Nice but a bit too drk. Maybe you could add a bit more light but not too much. Just enough to see the Shivan ships more clearly. And yes. Bump mapping as well.
