I've decided to start work on my old RPG proposal and I need an answer from people on something.  Does this look like a good breakdown of fighter/bomber piloting skills:

Terran Light Fighter - Loki, Pegasus, Perseus, Ulysses, Valkyrie
Terran Medium Fighter - Apollo, Myrmidon
Terran Heavy Fighter - Ares, Erinyes, Hercules, Hercules II
Terran Light Bomber - Artemis, Athena, Zeus
Terran Heavy Bomber - Boanerges, Medusa, Ursa

Vasudan Light Fighter - Anubis, Horus, Ptah, Serapis, Thoth
Vasudan Medium Fighter - Seth
Vasudan Heavy Fighter - Tauret
Vasudan Light Bomber - Bahka
Vasudan Heavy Bomber - Amun, Osiris, Sekhmet

This system refers to general size and maneuverability, not specifically firepower, by the way.

I always thought the Seth was pretty much on par with the Apollo More of its equal than the Anubis ever was, at least in the TV-war. I think the Seth could go for both, depending on load-out.

I'd consider the medusa a light bomber. bahka heavy.

Nah, the Medusa is definitely a heavy bomber.  Just in terms of size, as it dwarfs fighters.  Light bombers are more or less the size of large fightercraft.

@FireCrack: Have you ever flown the Bahka?  It's the equivalent of the Artemis.  This is based more on handling and size, not firepower.

@Solatar: I'd wondered about the Seth, anyway.  The problem is, Vasudan ships emphasize handling more than their counterparts do.

Weapons are very much handled by other skills.  This is just so I can determine which fighters go where.

Suggestions:

- add new categories for medium bombers and put Osiris and Medusa into them
- make the Herc II a Medium Fighter ?
- ADD SHIVANS !!!    (:rolleyes:  uhm... sorry - it just took me...)

Yeah, but it caries helioses, the ability to destroy capital ships is what makes me classify things as heavy or light, medusas cant carry helioses or harbingers.
